20% Increase In Visits to Laniado Hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Department

Over the past two years, Laniado Hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Department has been significantly upgraded and with the Ministry of Health’s Scientific Council accreditation to train medical residents, there has been a 20% increase in visits to the hospital’s Weinstock Pediatric Emergency Department. When Laniado Hospital opened its doors on June 21, 1976 with the birth of its first baby in the Maternity Department, the building included 2 birthing rooms, 1 surgical room, 8 double patient rooms and a nursery.
