Our first patient is an 83-year-old female, in an orphaned Holocaust Survivor, with diabetes. Her past history includes heart failure, kidney failure, hypertension, recurrent bladder infections and hysterectomy.
Our second patient has the most severe form of peripheral vascular disease, critical limb ischemia, with markedly diminished blood flow to his lower limbs and resultant severe, non-healing, deep wounds. He already lost one finger last week.

What is Biogencell treatment?
BioGenCell is currently in phase I/II clinical trials for the treatment of “no option” critical limb ischemia (CLI) patients. Results of the first trials show that the treatment is safe and has therapeutic effects I both objective outcomes, including limb salvage, leg blood flow and wound healing as well as subjective outcomes including walking ability, reduction of pain and improved quality of life after a single treatment.
Based on the results obtained in BioGenCell’s first in-human study Laniado Hospital has been given permission by the Israeli Ministry of Health to preform compassionate treatment on “no-option” patients who face serious morbidity, including amputation, and possible mortality.
